Designer of the Year
Winner · Utility Spaces 150 Sq. Ft. and Under · 2026 IDS Designer of the Year Awards
The winning room is one readers already know: the fan-wallpapered laundry E+E designed for the Colorado Designer Showhouse in Washington Park, 103 square feet treated with the same intention as a kitchen. In 2025 the studio stood as First Runner Up on this national stage. In 2026, E+E won its category outright.
Two seasons on the national stage
The 2025 recognition honored E+E's whole-home work, complete residences carried from architectural detail through the final styled shelf.

"5 Stylish and Hardworking New Laundry Rooms"
Houzz features Kendra's designer showhouse laundry in Denver as "Think Small Kitchen," for treating a 103-square-foot room with the same design intention as a kitchen.
Custom white cabinetry, a dusty-blue subway tile backsplash, fan-motif wallpaper, and a wood slat wall share a small footprint, with a true work counter over the machines so the room feels finished rather than temporary.
