Nestled in the heart of the Canyons at Castle Pines, our clients built a stunning semi-custom home as the foundation for their beautiful family of six. While the structure itself offered incredible potential, it began as a true blank canvas — neutral, quiet, and waiting to be filled with the personality and life of its owners. That’s where our design journey began.
Inspired by Their Travels
Our client has spent years collecting unique artifacts, textiles, art and treasures from around the world. These meaningful pieces — each with its own story — became the heartbeat of the design. From vibrant colors to one-of-a-kind textures, these collected treasures guided us in creating a home that feels layered, soulful, and deeply personal. Mixing old with new, we built the design around what already mattered most to them, weaving their memories into every room.

Balancing Beauty and Daily Life
Designing for a family of six meant creating more than just beautiful spaces — functionality had to shine. We focused on thoughtful layouts that support both everyday routines and the joy of entertaining friends and extended family. Durable finishes, smart storage solutions, and flexible spaces all played a role in making sure this home not only looks incredible but also works seamlessly for their lifestyle.

A Home Full of Inspiration and Color
The final result is a space that feels alive with color, culture, and connection. Every room tells part of their story — from treasured objects showcased with pride to bold hues that echo their adventurous spirit. What was once a blank backdrop has been transformed into a home full of character, warmth, and inspiration — a true reflection of the family who lives there.
At E+E Design Consulting, we believe every home should tell its owner’s story. This project in the Canyons is a perfect example of how blending function with fabulous design creates not only a beautiful space, but one that feels unmistakably like home.
